Where Is the Mahamaya Sports Arena?
The arena sits at Mahamaya Flyover in Sector 38. That’s close to where the Noida–Greater Noida Expressway begins, which makes it handy for people coming from central Noida, the Expressway sectors and even parts of East Delhi.
If you’re taking the metro, get off at Botanical Garden. It’s a short auto or cab ride from there. If you’re driving, both booking apps list parking among the venue’s amenities.
Sports You Can Play at Mahamaya
There are four sports right now. Each one suits a different kind of group.
Pay and Play Football in Noida
Hudle lists two artificial turf facilities for football here. That’s useful on busy evenings, since a second turf means a better chance of finding an open slot.
Most pay-and-play turfs around Noida run 5-a-side to 7-a-side games, so a group of 10 to 14 is the sweet spot. Floodlights mean you can play after the heat breaks, and in Delhi NCR that matters for most of the year.
Good for: office teams, college friends, weekend regulars who’ve outgrown the society park.

Pay and Play Cricket in Noida: Box Cricket
Box cricket is cricket made smaller. The pitch is enclosed with netting, the overs are short and every edge stays in play. Nobody has to walk across a whole ground to fetch the ball.
There’s one box cricket turf at this venue. Groups of 12 to 16 usually split into two sides, with house rules settled before the toss: one-tip-one-hand, no LBW, and so on.
Good for: big groups, mixed skill levels, the friend who “hasn’t played since school” but still wants to bowl.
Padel
Padel is the fastest-growing racket sport in Indian cities right now, and it’s easy to see why. It’s always played as doubles on a small enclosed court, and you can use the walls. The ball comes back off the glass or mesh, the rallies get long and the learning curve is gentle.
There’s one outdoor padel court here. You need four players.
Good for: couples, small friend groups, tennis players looking for something more social.
Pickleball
Pickleball uses a solid paddle, a light plastic ball with holes and a court about the size of a badminton court. You can play singles or doubles. Beginners usually manage proper rallies within the first 15 minutes, which is a big reason for its popularity.
There’s one outdoor pickleball court at Mahamaya.
Good for: first-timers, families, anyone who wants a real workout without a steep skill barrier.
Pricing: What a Game Actually Costs
Here are the starting prices on Hudle as of October 2026. The listing doesn’t say whether these are per hour or per slot, and peak evenings and weekends often cost more than the starting rate. Treat these as a floor, not a final bill.
| Sport | Starting price | Typical group size | Rough cost per head* |
| Turf football | ₹600 onwards | 10–14 players | ₹45–60 |
| Box cricket | ₹1,000 onwards | 12–16 players | ₹65–85 |
| Padel | ₹1,000 onwards | 4 players | ₹250 |
| Pickleball | ₹450 onwards | 2–4 players | ₹115–225 |
*Per-head figures just divide the starting price by group size. Your actual split depends on the slot you book.
Two things stand out. Football and box cricket are cheap per head because the cost is shared across a big group. Padel costs more per person but needs only four people, so it’s much easier to organise on short notice.
Hudle also showed a “10% OFF” tag on this venue when we checked. App offers come and go, so check the booking screen for whatever’s running when you book.
How Sports Booking in Noida Works at This Venue
Booking takes about two minutes:
- Open Hudle or District. Search for “Zyng Gallant Sports Arena” or just browse sports venues in Noida.
- Pick your sport. Each sport has its own slot calendar.
- Choose a date and time. Available slots show up with the live price.
- Pay in the app. You’ll get a booking confirmation right away.
- Read the cancellation terms before paying. Policies vary by venue and platform, and the listing didn’t spell them out.
Tip: Weekday nights between 8 PM and 11 PM, and weekend evenings, go fastest. If your group has a fixed weekly game, book the next slot as soon as the current one ends.
Both apps also handle tournament entries and league registrations for the venue, so keep an eye there if you’d like more competitive games.
Facilities and Amenities
Here’s what the booking platforms list, along with what was announced at launch:
- Floodlights for evening and late-night play
- Artificial turf for football and box cricket
- Equipment on rent, which saves you carrying bats or paddles
- Parking
- Seating areas and a lounge
- Drinking water and washrooms
- Warm-up space
- “The Stand,” a stadium-style spectator zone used for tournaments, finals, corporate leagues and screenings
- A cluster of food trucks serving burgers, wraps, momos, rolls and drinks
The last two make a difference. A lot of turfs in Noida are a pitch, a fence and a light pole. Here, the people waiting for the next game have somewhere to sit and something to eat.
Who Built It, and Why the Surface Matters
The sporting infrastructure at Mahamaya was planned, designed and built by Gallant Sports, the sports infrastructure company behind the Gallant Play network of arenas across Delhi NCR. Zyng Sports runs the destination.
That matters more than it sounds. On a pay-and-play turf, you notice the surface within the first five minutes:
- Ball roll. Worn or patchy turf makes passes bobble and die early.
- Footing. A badly maintained surface is where twisted ankles and turf burns come from.
- Drainage. After a monsoon shower, a well-built base drains quickly. A poor one stays waterlogged and gets your slot cancelled.
- Court bounce. On padel and pickleball courts, an even surface keeps the bounce predictable, so rallies hold up.
Whenever you’re comparing sports facilities near you, ask who built the surface and how old it is. It’s the single biggest factor in how a game feels.
Tips Before You Play
- Wear the right shoes. For turf, use TF (turf) or AG (artificial grass) shoes. Most artificial turf venues don’t allow metal studs. For padel and pickleball, wear court or non-marking shoes.
- Arrive 10 minutes early. Late arrivals eat into your own slot, and the next group won’t wait.
- Carry water anyway. Drinking water is available, but in May and June you’ll want your own bottle too.
- Fix the split before you book. Decide who’s paying and how the money gets settled. It saves a lot of awkward follow-ups in the group chat.
- New to padel or pickleball? Ask whether equipment rental is available for your slot, and spend the first 10 minutes just rallying before you keep score.

A Quick Checklist for Any Pay and Play Arena in Noida
Searching “sports facilities near me” brings up dozens of options. Run each one through these questions:
- Is the price per hour or per slot? How much more do peak evenings cost?
- How old is the turf or court surface? Does it drain well?
- Are there floodlights, and how late does the venue actually stay open?
- Is equipment available on rent?
- What happens if you need to cancel, or rain stops play?
- Is there parking, seating and a clean washroom?
A venue that answers all six clearly is usually one that’s run properly.
